Cross Tavern is not just a place to eat — it’s a landmark in Kampi. Standing next to the large cross that gives the tavern its name, and just steps from the ancient Mycenaean cemetery, we look out over one of the most beautiful sunsets in all of Zakynthos. Locals still call us “the priest’s tavern” — a name that has stayed with us through the years.

Cross Tavern has been run by the Kladis family since 1986, right here in Kambi, next to the cross that gave the tavern its name. Spyros and Panagiota built this place with their own hands, and today their children, Anastasia and Nikos, carry the tradition forward. Every dish comes from the heart, and every table is served with a warm welcome. Come for the sunset, stay for the feeling of being part of the family.
